Winter Coats and Pants

The number one item to have is a winter coat and pant set. These items are key, especially if you decide to participate in a snow activity. A simple coat and a pair of jeans just won’t cut it. I particularly loved the Riuiyele Women’s Waterproof jacket and pant set. The coat was stylish and lightweight, yet still provided the warmth I needed while snow biking, tubing, and skiing. The jacket was true to size and had lots of pockets for storing items like my phone and lift tickets. The pants were also very comfortable and had adjustable straps. The adjustable straps were awesome considering I am height challenged…ok short. They also fit great over my snow boots, and I never had any issues with them riding up and causing my legs to be cold or wet. The items were ordered online, and they arrived much quicker than expected. I plan to use these for a while.

Winter Boots

The boots you purchase are extremely important and should be at the top of the list of must need items. I wanted a “cute” boot, but also one that would keep my feet warm and protect my socks from getting wet. I also wanted a pair of boots that were reasonably priced. If this is your first winter trip, and need something within budget, go with a pair of Totes Boots. There are multiple options: ankle high, mid-calf and knee-high boots. I went with a pair of knee-high boots, and they were awesome. The boots kept my feet warm for hours and my socks never got wet. Loved them!!

Gloves

Gloves help to make the winter experience complete. The perfect glove not only keeps your hands warm, but in this technology driven world, they should also be multi-purpose. The Waterproof Touchscreen gloves were wonderful. They weren’t bulky, they kept my hands warm for multiple hours, and I never had to take them off to use the camera on my phone. They were also priced very well.

Ski Mask and Goggles

A ski mask is not exactly fashionable, but if you plan on getting out there on the slopes, you will definitely need one. The Balaclava Windproof Ski Mask was a great option. It was thin, but warm and fit well, even on my small head. The Yidomto Ski Goggles fit wonderful over the ski mask. The adjustable straps were perfect, and they also helped tremendously with the glare of the sun. The goggles came in 3 different colors, so they matched my winter coat and pants. Both the ski mask and goggles were under $15, and perfect additions to my winter essentials.

Moisturizers

Ok, so this isn’t exactly a clothing item, but who doesn’t need moisturizer. The Pond’s Nourishing Moisturizing Cream was perfect for my face and neck during winter vacation. I put a little on my face at night, and in the morning and my skin felt great all day. My face never felt dry or parched, and it was easy to pack. It is small, compact and easy to throw in a coat pocket or purse. The bottle also lasts a long time. Keep the skin nourished and glowing.

The lips are also important. Who doesn’t want lush, moisturized lips? In the winter, good old Vaseline is a simple option to keep on the lips. It lasts a long time and keeps the lips soft. If you are into lip gloss, the Rimmel Stay Glossy lip gloss is a great option. It’s cheap, small, easy to use, and fits great into a coat or pant pocket.

The winter essentials above helped me to be very prepared for my winter vacation. The items kept me warm and looking super fashionable. I also had glowing skin, and wasn’t running around with dry, cracked lips. Go take that winter vacation and enjoy life!
