Stepping Out On Faith and Facing The Trials Ahead

Did you have the faith to step out and try something new? Have you aimed for that goal that felt impossible? Did you give it your all and still fail? Guess what….it’s okay!

When we take the first step out on faith, it’s not always going to be perfect. Everything isn’t going to happen 100% like we envisioned it in our head. Everything can be going exactly as planned, and BAM! A mistake occurs and you feel like your life is ruined. Or so you thought!

There are going to be days when you want to give up because going for that goal seems too hard. You put your blood, sweat and tears into your business, and your only sale was from your mother, father, brother or auntie. Your friends and all the people “supporting” you only do it with lip service and nothing more. Next thing you know you are behind on rent and the light bill because you invested in your dreams. Guess what…..it’s okay! Not everyone who goes to Hollywood gets cast for the movie the first time. The tall, gorgeously thin woman did not get the modeling job she was a shoo in for. Let’s be honest, even Tyler Perry ended up homeless before he became the man he is today. Don’t wallow in self-pity thinking about everything that has or is going wrong.

The negative circumstances may seem like they are hitting you all at once, but you have overcome before, and you will continue to overcome if you don’t give up. Do not allow the spirit of fear to overtake you but stand strong and persevere. God allows tests and trials to come your way to build up your faith and put ALL your trust in him. It’s easy to say that you trust God, but the tests of life will make you put it in action. Understanding what real perseverance is will never happen if everything is handed to you. You already know that every testimony comes with a test so stop putting God in a box. Rejoice and be happy knowing that your vision can’t compare to his vision for you. He is greater than anything we can even begin to imagine. Push through and don’t give up.

Walk in your purpose and the Lord will eventually grant you the desires of your heart.
