God’s Comfort

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Psalm 23:4

Take a few minutes to meditate on the word of God. Think positive thoughts, and remember how God has his arms of protection wrapped around you.

There is so much destruction and despair around us on a daily basis. Simply going to the grocery store could be disastrous. We have no knowledge of the time or hour when the Lord will call us home. But God has reminded us that we should not have any fear. He provides love and comfort in dark times, and his love supersedes all.

Pray

Thank you God just for being you. Thank you for reminding me that I can turn to you for comfort in my time of need. I will continue to listen to your voice as you guide me on my daily journey. I need you, and I love you. You are the Alpha and the Omega, and I praise your holy name. Amen

Remember to keep God’s word close to your heart. Here is some additional inspiration:

God will fight your battles
